    1. Hi Lili! Thank you! It was my first time making them, so I think the recipe could certainly be modified and improved. If you don’t have a microwave, you could poach the apples gently in a little sweetened apple juice, which I saw in another recipe. Timing would vary depending on thickness of the slices, but you simply need them to be a little more pliable (not soft).
